COPD Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Background: COPD patients frequently present with exercise intolerance and reduced quality of life.
Objective: To report the outcome of a multidisciplinary pulmonary rehabilitation program in a COPD patient.
Case Presentation: A 67-year-old male with GOLD stage III COPD participated in an 8-week program including aerobic training, inspiratory muscle training, and breathing techniques.
Results: Post-intervention, 6-minute walk distance improved from 240 m to 360 m, dyspnea score (mMRC) decreased from 3 to 1, and quality of life scores improved.
Conclusion: Comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation significantly enhances exercise capacity and reduces symptoms in COPD patients.
